Valenii de Munte Orasul este situat in judetul Prahova, in apropiere de Ploiesti, Teleajenul Valley, a picturesque region of the Carpathian hills at an altitude of 350 m. The village is mentioned in documents in 1431, the road linking the ancient customs of the Romanian country and Transylvania, which was coming up over the Sacuieni Bratocea as fair. As a town is first mentioned in 1684 by Miron Costin.
